Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Leadsheet ("we", "us") collects when you use the Leadsheet app, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because we collect as little as we can to run the app.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect your email address and a password. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito; your password is stored by Cognito in a hashed form and is never visible to us.

Content you create

We store the content you add to the app so we can sync it across your devices and bandmates:

• Setlists and songs, including titles, tempo (BPM), time signatures and notes;
• Teams you create or join, their names, join codes and roster members;
• PDF sheet-music files you upload.

Technical information

We store a unique account identifier and a "last seen" timestamp so the app knows which content is yours and whether an account is active. Our servers keep standard operational logs (such as request errors) to keep the service running and secure.

What we do not do

• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
• We do not use your content to train machine-learning models.

How your information is used

We use the information above only to provide the app: to sign you in, store and sync your setlists, let you share content with your team, and respond to support requests.

Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services and MongoDB Atlas in the EU (Frankfurt / eu-central-1) region. Uploaded PDFs are stored in Amazon S3; setlist and account data is stored in MongoDB Atlas. These providers act as our processors and store the data on our behalf.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated content at any time by emailing leadsheet@welove.church from your account email address. Once verified, we will permanently delete your account, setlists and uploaded files.

Children

Leadsheet is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
